The Veerhood Panjabi Scholarship will be awarded annually to an individual who has promoted culture within their environment. This individual will have proudly exemplified promoting culture and wanting to spread the word while maintaining good standing in academics, athletics and/or arts, etc.
The individual must be in grade 12 or in first year at a recognized post-secondary institution in British Columbia. A valid student card is required as proof of registration. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent resident status. Applicants must include a 500 word essay sharing what culture means to them, how they are promoting it and what they are going to do to continue creating a legacy for culture.

The scholarship awarded will be for $1,000 and will be provided in full prior to the beginning of the 2018-19 school year.
Applications for the 2018-19 school year are accepted till June 15, 2018.
